To promote its goal of expanding the number of Arab students at Harvard, the Harvard Arab Alumni Association (HAAA) created the HAAA Scholarship Fund in 2010,
the first scholarship fund of its sort at Harvard.
The Arab world no longer accounts for a small proportion of Harvard’s student body; in 2013, only 118 Arab students attended Harvard across all of its colleges and degree programs, accounting for fewer than 2% of the university’s 4,000 international students.
The goal is to raise $10 million to assist financially disadvantaged Arab students who are accepted into any Harvard program.

HAAA Scholarship Deadline
HAAA Scholarship Deadline: Harvard offers both Restrictive Early Action and Regular Decision programs,
allowing applicants to compare admission and financial aid offers.
The deadline for Limited Early Action is November 1, with notice expected by mid-December.

Eligibility Criteria for HAAA Scholarship

The student must have admission to one of Harvard University’s schools (college, law school, business school, or Kennedy school) for a full-time degree program.
According to Harvard University’s normal scholarship requirements, students must demonstrate financial need.
Students having prior degrees (high school or college) from colleges and universities in Arab nations will be given preference.
