The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) is pleased to announce the availability of Masters and PhD scholarships at the best universities.
This scholarship program is part of the PTDF’s collaborative strategic plan, which seeks to build indigenous human capacity and petroleum technology to fulfill the needs of the oil and gas industry. All qualified applicants should immediately apply!
To qualify for the ptdf scholarship program, you must
- Be a Nigerian citizen.
- Have a first degree with at least Second Class Upper Class in any relevant discipline from an accredited college or university.

What are the selection criteria for scholarship programs?
To qualify for the ptdf scholarship 2022 program, candidates must:
- Be a Nigerian national
- They must have finished their undergraduate studies with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) or an equivalent.
- Be between 21 and 30 years old
- I have not previously participated in any ptdf scholarship programs.
- Have been accepted into a full-time MSc or PhD program at one of the institutions participating in PTDF’s strategic partnership project.
- Meet the minimum requirements for their chosen subject of study.

Candidates will be selected based on their
- Academic performance and leadership potential
- Communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Motivation and dedication to their chosen area of study.
- The ptdf scholarship program is open to all Nigerian citizens who meet the eligibility requirements.
- Candidates must have been admitted to a full-time MSc or PhD program at one of the institutions participating in PTDF’s strategic partnership project.
- Candidates will be select by their academic performance, leadership potential, communication and interpersonal skills, motivation, and devotion to their chosen field of study.
How to apply
Applications for the ptdf scholarship program are open to all appropriately qualified candidates. To be eligible, applicants must:
Become a Nigerian citizen
Be between 18 and 35 years old.
Have a minimum of Second Class Upper Division in their first degree from a recognized university.
Have complete NYSC or are exempt from it
Not receiving any other scholarship.
Candidates must complete the online application form and submit all relevant documentation.
